These fabulous Jacob M. Oldak cuff links are a very rare find! These dapper links are like a peek into the past!
These awesome cuff links have clear red glass cabochon with a carved star embossed with gold lacquer, accented with a sparkling clear rhinestone! They are framed in a shiny silver tone base.The clasp has Patent Number 2472958 - issued in 1949 to Jacob M. Oldak.
Jacob M. Oldak, a jeweler from Brooklyn, New York, invented the modern toggle cuff links that is known throughout the world today. The toggle design with the patent number 2472958 was filed in June 18, 1948 and approved in June 14, 1949.
These wonderful cuff links are in nice condition for their age. They have minimal scuffing on the glass cabochons and do show some wear of the shiny silver finish on the fronts and backs. They are in over all very good condition for their age of over 60+ years! Please see photos closely.
The cabochons measure approximately 15 mm x 18 mm. They weigh 5+ grams each. A storage bag is included with your purchase today.
